ATP Bucharest 2025 Prediction
The European clay season kicks off with the Bucharest Țiriac Open. The top seed and tournament favorite is Sebastián Báez, with a 16.7% chance of taking the title. The Argentine already won the ATP 500 event in Rio (clay) and reached the final in Santiago (also clay), where he lost to Laslo Djere.
Despite being unseeded, Laslo Djere is the second favorite for the Bucharest title. The Serbian is a versatile clay-court player and could cause a surprise, with a 14.3% chance of winning.
Pedro Martínez is the second seed and the third favorite to lift the trophy. His 10.0% chance is noticeably lower than Báez’s and Djere’s, but he did reach the quarterfinals last year, so a run to at least the final eight is expected.
Last year's finalist, Mariano Navone, is seeded seventh this year and will be looking to defend his points from 2024. He is the fourth favorite according to the odds, with a 9.1% chance of winning.
The last player considered a real title contender is Nicolás Jarry (4th seed, 8.3% chance). Meanwhile, Flavio Cobolli, the 3rd seed, appears to be out of form. Also worth noting is that the defending champion, Marton Fucsovics, is back in the draw (unseeded) and holds an 8.3% chance of retaining the title he won in 2024.
